Clinical Preparation Guidelines
Ensure a 1mm shoulder margin for optimal results. Facilitate a 1.5mm axial wall reduction. Provide a necessary 2mm incisal/occlusal reduction. Avoid knife-edge margins; maintain smooth contours. Remember, sharp or right angles are not suitable for all-ceramic restorations.
For bonding IPS e.max®, adhesive systems featuring dual cure resins are recommended. Alternatively, consider cementing with low expansion cements, such as resin-modified glass ionomers, for reliable outcomes.
